Who is responsible

What Dawyn is

Dawyn is a private work tool. It shows the user's own work items, messages and AI agent sessions in one feed. Access is by invitation only.

Data we process

Sign-in data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture (Google scopes for email and basic profile only). We use your email address only to check whether you are invited and to identify you in the app. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, Drive or other Google data through this sign-in.
Session cookie. After sign-in we set one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
Server logs. Our server records technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and error analysis, kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Content in your feed. The items and sessions shown to you are the content you or your own tools connect. It is processed only to provide the service to you.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the service you requested) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security of our systems). The session cookie is strictly necessary (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

Where data is stored and who receives it

Dawyn runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Sign-in is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC; data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell data and do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while you have access and deleted within 30 days after access ends, unless the law requires longer retention.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht. Write to samuel@hess.capital.

Google user data

Dawyn's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
